Your big day. They can’t make it. We’re here to help.

This past May, we launched Something New, a new line of services dedicated to weddings and other special events. Building on our experience in professional video and webcast production for a range of live events, we help connect those celebrating a special occasion with their guests who can’t attend in person. As with all our work, we bring to this new service a high level of attention to technical detail so that our clients can focus on what’s important — a perfect wedding day, surrounded by friends and family, both in person and online. Here’s what we do:

  • Shoot a video of the ceremony (and reception too, if you want) and use a high speed Internet connection to stream it live online.
  • Create a password protected page on our website where the video is streamed live as your ceremony is happening and is immediately archived so you and your guests can watch it later, for up to a month after your wedding day.
  • Send an email invitation (and reminders) to your guest list, letting them know when and where to watch, and how to ask us for extra help, if they need it.
  • Work with the venue coordinator to make all the technical arrangements, including things like figuring out whether they have an Internet connection we can use. We’ll also happily work with your wedding coordinator and any of your other vendors – like the videographer or photographer – as necessary, to make sure the live webcast of your wedding is as perfect as possible.

All you have to do is:

  • Send us your webcast guest list so we know who to invite.
  • Pick from one of four themes to customize your webcast page and email invitations.
  • Don’t worry about having to learn any new technical skills or jargon to make the webcast work.
  • Enjoy your big day, knowing that loved ones near and far are celebrating with you.

And your guests:

  • Log on to your customized site with the instructions from the email we send them.
  • Watch the live video of your ceremony.
  • Leave messages on the site for you (text right now, video messages coming soon!).
  • Use our live online support if they need help connecting (yes, there is a real person on the other end!).
