Covid-19 update: We are open and available to support your online events and remote productions.

Eugene Lang First Year Writing Program Remote Livestream

Every semester, Eugene Lang College’s First Year Writing Program brings writers together on campus to discuss their craft with students during a weekly lunchtime series. Despite the cancellation of in-person classes and events due to COVID-19, our all-remote livestream production enabled Lang to move forward with these online conversations between poets Ellen Bass and Miller Oberman. We used Zoom to bring together the speakers’ video feeds and broadcast directly to Livestream for a straightforward audience viewing experience for students and the general public alike. With technical direction from our producer, we created a seamless event by minimizing the Zoom interface, managing transitions between speakers, live switching to their presentation slides, and facilitating the audience Q&A.
