PATIENT STORIES
FWGBD empowers healthcare providers with education to ensure that blood disorders in women and girls+ are correctly diagnosed at every life stage. For their national conference, they wanted to create videos that highlight the human side of this work—showcasing how expert, compassionate care transforms lives. Having partnered with the FWGBD since 2018 to create videos that showcase their impact both in individual clinics of excellence and nationwide, as well as producing the 7-2-1 podcast and Ask the Experts series, we have developed a deep understanding of their mission and storytelling goals, becoming a trusted content partner.
To make sensitive medical topics relatable and human, we focused on what would resonate with FWGBD’s audience—how their work shapes not just medical outcomes, but also impacts patients’ goals, relationships, and overall quality of life. By filming remote interviews, we were able to feature the most engaging stories—regardless of location—delivering powerful videos that honor each patient’s experience with care and compassion. messaging goals with production logistics and prepare organizations for location filming in each of their communities.
MAKING THE PERSONAL VISABLE
“Our audience feels connected, supported, and the videos are relatable. We honestly couldn’t make it all happen without Really Useful Media, who handled the patients and production with care.”
