ONLINE EVENTS

Sandy Hook Promise is a national nonprofit dedicated to educating and empowering youth and adults to prevent violence and school shootings. To reach their nationwide network of donors, they launched an online event series designed to give select supporters direct access to experts and advocates discussing youth mental health and violence prevention. Because Sandy Hook Promise’s mission addresses highly sensitive subjects, they engaged Really Useful Media not only for our ability to produce a broadcast-quality event, but also to provide a secure, invite-only livestream experience for both speakers and audiences.

We worked closely with the Sandy Hook Promise team to understand the unique security and content sensitivity concerns around their work, and advised on platform tools and workflow. We livestreamed the series to a white-label server, allowing Sandy Hook Promise to host events directly on their site with a polished, branded experience. We implemented a Q&A chat with screening and moderation tools and a custom registration gate to capture attendance data and allow leadership to engage with donors without compromising online safety. To elevate the production values beyond standard virtual meetings, we created branded graphics and lower-third titles, and managed live switching between individual speakers, group shots, and pre-recorded video.

HIGH-VALUE LIVESTREAM

SOCIAL VIDEO

For each event in the series, we produced both complete event archives and 30-second social clips. By identifying the most compelling moments from each conversation, these social clips allowed Sandy Hook Promise to share expert insights to their broader audience, sustaining momentum between events and reinforcing their ongoing advocacy work.
